We have a lot of exciting events coming up in November! To start off the season right, this weekend (Nov.7th-9th), visit the Historic Downtown Square in Ozark for the Songs of the Season Holiday Open House Event. The boutiques will be displaying all of their new gifts and decor for the 2013 holiday season. Don't forget to stop by
2nd Street Coffee to listen to the live music and grab a warm beverage to keep you toasty while you shop!
Next up are
The Christmas Lights Of Ozark at The Finley River Park. Sitting from my desk, writing this post, I can see the men who are setting up the enormous display at
the park. It is nearly a mile of lights! I have a feeling this will be the best year yet. The park will "light up" on November 15th and remain until January 5th. The lights are on nightly from 5pm-11pm. (The Christmas Lights Of Ozark are free to the public but donations are appreciated.) Oh, I almost forgot! Starting November 22nd at 6pm (on Fri, Sat, & Sun. evenings) through all of December, carriage rides will be available too!

That brings me to the
49th Annual Ozark Christmas Parade! The parade will be held Saturday November 23rd, 2013 at 6pm. This years theme is "Candy Canes and Christmas Carols". The parade route will begin at 1509 W. Jackson (in front of Ozark Bank) and proceeds East to 3rd st., continuing through downtown and will end at Elm & 3rd.
